Accountability

In determining the personality and cognitive abilities of candidates, we employ an advanced methodology that relies on a combination of four renowned personality tests supplemented with three cognitive (IQ) tests.

We refer to our approach as the ITTI® methodology. ITTI stands for: “Integrated Test and Training Inventory”.

The four instruments used have been individually assessed by the Commission on Test Affairs Netherlands (COTAN) of the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (NIP), with scores ranging from adequate to excellent.

The selection of our personality tests reflects the fundamental contributions of leading scientists within the domain of test psychology, including:

A.L. Edwards, a prominent American psychologist whose work has significantly contributed to the development of personality measurements;

A.S.H. Tjoa, with a doctorate from the University of Amsterdam, is in the Netherlands the person who has provided a solid continuation of Edwards’ work;

Professor P.J.D. Drenth, recognized as an authority in the field of Dutch test theory;

An official Dutch adaptation of the Big Five questionnaire developed by H.A. Hoekstra and F. de Fruyt.

The three cognitive tests have been successfully compared with the Adaptive Capacity Tests (ACT) of IXLY, a tool that has been evaluated by COTAN as ranging from adequate to excellent.

Our ITTI® methodology intelligently integrates the results of these seven tests, which together cover 67 personality traits, each measured on a scale from 0 to 100%. Based on both literature studies and more than 10,000 empirically collected data points from tested candidates, we have been able to establish significant correlations between the various personality traits, contributing to a deeper understanding of the interrelationship of these properties.

Criticism exists, of course. Some professionals argue that no single test can fully capture someone’s ‘true’ personality. They believe the complexity of the human brain and the influence of external factors make this impossible. Nonetheless, it cannot be denied that the ITTI® methodology is an essential step in the right direction by offering a more in-depth and comprehensive analysis.
